Studies on Modern Chinese Classics and Their Thinkers, written by Prof. Wu Yangxiang (Distinguished Professor, Zhejiang University), has been published by Shanghai People's Press.

This collection brings together thirteen research articles on the history of Chinese classics (Jingxue) from the mid-Qing to the modern period. The topics include:

• Scholarly debates on the Old Text tradition of the Book of Changes and the Classic of Filial Piety.

• Major intellectual controversies of the late Qing, such as the debates between Zhu Yixin and Kang Youwei.

• Critical reviews of modern scholars including Chen Pan, Mou Runsun, and Huang Zhangjian.
