The School of History, Zhejiang University, will host an international conference on Mutual Learning Across Civilizations and Technological Transformation from September 11–13, 2026 on the Zijingang Campus.

This conference aims to bring together scholars in the history of science and technology, medical history, environmental history, digital humanities, and related fields to discuss knowledge exchange, scientific practice, and cross‑civilizational dialogue.

Themes include but are not limited to:

1. History of science and technology (mathematics, astronomy, medicine, agriculture, technology, etc.)

2. Science, technology, and society (including intellectual and social history of science, translation and communication of knowledge, comparative studies)

3. Digital humanities and the history of science (GIS, big data analysis, etc.)

4. Biographical studies of scientists

Submission: Papers (in Chinese or English) should be sent to zju20260912@163.com by July 31, 2026. Authors will be notified of acceptance by mid‑August.

Costs: Meals during the conference are covered; participants cover their own travel and accommodation.
